This page describes how AceFever creates and maintains its content: who writes it, what credentials are required, how facts are checked, how the site stays current, and how errors are corrected.

Who Writes Content on AceFever#

AceFever does not publish anonymous content on gambling topics. Every article displays the name of the author and, where applicable, a reviewer. Contributors are required to have professional credentials relevant to the content type they write or review.

Content Type Author Requirement
Casino mathematics, house edge, probability Background in mathematics, statistics, or demonstrable casino industry expertise
UK regulation Knowledge of the UK Gambling Act and UKGC processes; compliance or legal background preferred
US regulation Knowledge of state-level gaming law; legal or policy background preferred
Sports betting mathematics Professional betting, trading, or odds-setting background
Slots / RTP iGaming industry background or technical mathematics
Responsible gambling Mental health, addiction services, or regulated gambling advisory background

Who Reviews Content#

Articles covering casino mathematics, game probability, or regulatory claims are reviewed by a second contributor before publication. The reviewer’s name appears on the article alongside the author’s. Review responsibilities: check factual accuracy against primary sources; check mathematical claims are reproducible; check legal or regulatory claims reflect current law; check the article does not imply a strategy overcomes negative expected value.

How Facts Are Verified#

Primary sources first. For regulatory claims, we link to the relevant regulator or government source directly. For mathematics, we state the formula and assumptions, not just the result.

No unsourced statistics. A number in an AceFever article has a source. If we cannot source a statistic to a primary or strong secondary source, we do not publish it.

Jurisdiction and date. Regulatory and legal claims state the jurisdiction they apply to and the date the information was checked.

Full methodology is on our Methodology page.

How We Monitor for Regulatory Changes#

AceFever monitors updates from: UK Gambling Commission at gamblingcommission.gov.uk; legislation.gov.uk for statutory changes; state gaming control board and gaming commission announcements for the US states we cover; and the National Council on Problem Gambling for responsible gambling policy updates.

How Corrections Are Handled#

The full corrections process is on our Corrections Policy page. Every correction report is reviewed within five working days. If confirmed, the article is updated and a correction note is added showing what changed and when. We do not silently edit articles.

Affiliate Relationships and Editorial Independence#

AceFever may earn referral income when readers click through to licensed operators — see our Affiliate Disclosure. Affiliate relationships do not influence whether we cover a topic, how we rate or describe a product, what we recommend, or whether we publish critical analysis. If a relationship conflicted with editorial integrity, we would end the relationship, not change the content.

Content Update Schedule#

Classification Review Cycle
Stable (probability formulas, historical rules) 12 months or on material correction
Moderately changing (RTP documentation, regulatory guidance) 6 months
Time-sensitive (state legality, tax rules, operator licensing) Verified before publication and on scheduled re-check
