Chart, house edge and true count.

The three tools that matter most for blackjack. The chart comes from the same engine as the drill table and Ace, so all three always agree.

House edge calculator

Change the table rules and see how much each one costs you. Assumes perfect basic strategy.

Approximate. Each figure comes from standard rule-effect tables and starts from a baseline of about 0.42% (6 decks, S17, DAS, 3:2). Real games can differ by a few hundredths of a percent.

True count calculator

Hi-Lo running count divided by the decks left to play. Counting in your head is legal in the US and UK, though casinos can refuse to deal to you.

Rule of thumb: each +1 of true count moves the edge about 0.5% towards the player, starting from about −0.5% at a count of 0. Real results swing a lot, and no count guarantees a profit.

The house edge meter

Every game has a price. Here's what each one costs.

Pick a game and set your total wagered. The number shows what you should expect to lose on average over the long run.

Bankroll simulator

Run 500 sessions in about a second and see where your money goes.

This is a Monte Carlo simulation. Each line on the chart is a possible future. Short-run luck varies a lot, but the house edge always wins over time.
